Deel review 2026
We've been using Deel actively for several months. This is the honest review — what it does well, what it does badly, and who should (and shouldn't) pay for it.
The one-liner
The category leader. Pays affiliates $1,500 per qualified business signup.
What it is
Deel is a Global hiring tool aimed at companies hiring contractors or full-time employees in multiple countries. Pricing starts at $49/month per contractor (Deel EOR pricing varies by country).
What it does well
- Contractor agreements
- Global payroll
- EOR in 150+ countries
- Compliance automation
- Equipment provisioning
What it does badly
Every tool in this space has trade-offs. Deel's biggest weaknesses are usually pricing tiers that jump steeply once you outgrow the starter plan, and a learning curve that's steeper than the marketing suggests for first-time users. None of these are deal-breakers — but you should walk in expecting them.
Who should buy it
Companies hiring contractors or full-time employees in multiple countries. If that's you, this is one of the strongest tools in its category and worth the trial.
Who should skip it
If you're using the tool weekly or less, the free tier or a cheaper alternative will cover you. Don't pay enterprise prices for occasional use — that's how SaaS budgets balloon.
